As an HPU graduation photographer, I’ve had the absolute joy of shooting all around campus, and there are so many beautiful spots that make your photos feel extra special. From the iconic fountains and elegant architecture to the blooming seasonal flowers and those perfect golden hour paths…High Point University truly gives us the dreamiest backdrop. (Not that you needed to hear that from me!) I love helping grads choose locations that match their vibe, whether that’s timeless and sophisticated or bright and playful.

One of my favorite things about photographing HPU seniors is getting to know YOU. Your story, your major, your friend group, your journey…this session is all about celebrating everything that got you to this moment. Want to pop champagne? Bring your besties? Show off your heels, sneakers, or even your pup? I’m all in. These photos should feel like you.

A few quick tips if you’re starting to plan your grad session:

  • Book early! Spring dates fill up fast for HPU graduation photos.

  • Iron that gown! …or at least take it out of the bag and hang it up a few days prior to your session. If you hate to iron, hang it in your bathroom while you shower and let the steam help you out!

  • Don’t forget the details: cords, stoles, rings, and anything meaningful to your college experience.

  • Trust the process—I’ll guide you through posing so you feel confident and natural the entire time.
