Caroline and Conner’s wedding day was a perfect reflection of timeless elegance, deep family roots, and joyful celebration — all set against two of the most iconic wedding venues in High Point, NC. From their meaningful ceremony at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church to the lively reception at the High Point Country Club, every detail was a dream come true.
Wesley Memorial Church: A Timeless Backdrop
Wesley Memorial Church in High Point, NC, with its towering architecture and grand stained glass windows (Which had sentimental significance for the Klemme family), served as the perfect sacred space for Caroline and Conner to say “I do.” The moment Caroline stepped through the historic doors in her stunning gown from Laced by Grace, everyone fell silent. …well, right before they gasped, cheered, and shed a couple of tears!!! She wore a long, flowing veil that seemed to float behind her, capturing the light through the chapel windows.
But what made her dress truly special was the heartwarming secret stitched inside… the patches sewn from three generations of wedding dresses, delicately woven into the lining. It was a beautiful tribute to the women who came before her, each of whom had walked down the aisle in love and legacy. And let’s not forget those famous red-bottom shoes peeking out with every step down the aisle …a bold and fabulous nod to Caroline’s sophisticated style.
The bridal party looked equally stunning, with bridesmaids dressed in dusty blue gowns that brought a soft, romantic feel to the day. The florals by Joneswell Flowers were a fresh, summery palette of pale pinks, sunny yellows, soft oranges, and just a touch of wild whimsy — like a watercolor garden brought to life.
After the ceremony, the celebration moved to the elegant High Point Country Club. The cake by Ketchie Creek Bakery was as delicious as it was beautiful — elegantly iced and adorned with soft florals that tied in perfectly with the rest of the decor. A fun photo booth by yours truly gave guests a chance to capture the sillier side of the evening, while Perfect Peony Events orchestrated the day with seamless grace from start to finish.
Every element — from the custom invitations by If It’s Paper, to hair and makeup by Hair by Brittany, to the polished arrival in style via Royal Limousine … added to the sense that this day was not only beautiful, but uniquely Caroline and Conner.
