Hey there! It's your friendly High Point photographer here, and I've got a super exciting story to share with you today. So, buckle up and get ready to dive into the world of Gabi, a rockstar graduate from High Point University (HPU), as we roam (and ride) around campus capturing her graduation glory!
For starters, Gabi came into the YLP Studio for the full Senior Experience! She had her hair and makeup done by the talented Olivia Kiefer who made sure she was looking flawless for her senior portraits!
Now, let’s not forget to mention that Gabi is a legit rockstar. We started the session and like most students, she started putting on her cap and gown. Occasionally, students have a cord they earned throughout their college experience. Well, Gabi pulls out a BAG full of codes and accolades and starts putting them on. One after another! I have never seen someone earn so many! Her parents gave the credit to HPU for having so many opportunities for her to get involved. While that might be true, I can’t help but recognize Gabi for her ambition, her grit, and her desire to push herself!
We kick things off at Roberts Hall, the OG spot for HPU graduations. If you're a graduate, you gotta have a pic in front of this place, and you definitely didn’t need to point that out! So, there's Gabi, all decked out in her cap and gown, all of her cords, beaming with excitement. We're snapping away, capturing that proud moment as she gears up to conquer the world.
But hey, we're just getting started! Next stop: Gabi's fave spots on campus. She’s an ambassador on campus and we had first class service! She had keys to the golf carts and we rode around campus in style! And let me tell you, this campus is like a “country club” to quote her dad! It's all lush greenery, perfectly handpicked landscaping to match the HPU colors, and fancy buildings – I'm talking Wanek and Cottrell, sleek and modern against the backdrop of blue skies. It’s one of my most favorite places to work!
Gabi's parents decide to join in on the fun too. They came down from Maryland for the weekend to not miss this opportunity! So now, we've got this adorable family photo op happening all over campus. How cute is their outfit coordination?! It's like a mini adventure, with Gabi leading the way and her folks cheering her on every step of the journey.
And let's not forget about those iconic HPU letters – you know, the ones that scream "I'm a proud graduate!" We snag a few shots there too, just to make sure Gabi's got all the bases covered.
